As the technical lead and art director of Showtime's internal brand team, my primary responsibility was to oversee the maintenance of the company's brand identity. To achieve this, I designed and animated graphic packaging for Showtime's marketing campaigns and developed tools and templates that facilitated graphic production by leveraging automation wherever possible. This approach freed up the design and animation teams to concentrate on other creative tasks.
2022 Brand Refresh
In 2021, we joined forces with Gretel to revitalize the Showtime brand and unify the viewer experience across streaming, broadcast, print, digital, and social media. In preparation for this massive undertaking, I oversaw the coordination of all deliverables to ensure that all our graphic and technical requirements were met. Following the receipt of the deliverables, we commenced the implementation phase of the project. Using the delivered assets as a guide, I led a team in the development of essential tools required to efficiently implement the new brand. These tools included templates for designers and animators, a web portal for hosting brand assets and guidelines, and comprehensive editorial templates to enable the easy creation of complex animated graphics within Premiere.

Other iterations of marketing looks we developed over the years I was at Showtime. Once approved, toolkits were built for editors and animators to quickly turn these around.
